    Lady in London

About a month ago, we went to London, Ireland and Scotland for our babymoon. We actually planned the trip months before I knew I was pregnant, but then we just made it into a babymoon! We only had a week so we packed ALOT in! I had already been to London for a week a few years ago, so we really just hit the highlights for Jibin! Tips 1. It was cold in May, so definitely make sure you pack a jacket- especially a rain jacket! 2. Check the hours for palaces and days for when the you can visit. 3. Food is amazing anywhere and everywhere in London. 4.…

    A Weekend in L.A.

L.A. isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but we went for a weekend back in October and it only confirmed my liking for NYC and the east coast more. It’s a great place for those whose personality fits it. However, we still had a great time and though I may not be going back to make yearly trips, it’s definitely worth visiting once- it’s definitely a stay over and not a destination. My favorite part was the healthy food options no matter where you go and hiking to the back of the Hollywood sign! Housing We stayed at 1600 Vine Street apartments– an AirBnB find. It was the first time…

The Best of Barcelona in 2 Days

Yes, that’s the classic picture when you think of Barcelona! Gaudi inspirations are of course all over the city. This particular infamous picture is at Park Guell. We went to Barcelona about 6 months ago when we went to Capetown, Milan and Spain. I absolutely loved Barcelona- I could definitely live there- after all, I’m a big city gal. Of course, we walked everywhere- but things in Barcelona are more spread out than other places, so be prepared to walk alot if you choose to walk everywhere! From the food to sightseeing and to shopping (of course), it had the best. We had 2 full days in Barcelona so we…

    Journey Through Capetown, South Africa

I had heard Capetown, South Africa was gorgeous, but I was in for a surprise when I saw exactly how beautiful. A few months ago, my hubby and I went on our annual two week international trip to Capetown (he has cousins there so it was nice to stay with them, 4 days), Spain (Madrid (1 day), Seville (2 days), Barcelona (3 days)) and Milan (2 days).  First off, the flight to Capetown is a whopping 27 hour flight that we had broken down with a stop in Doha, Qatar with a 9 hour layover which was perfect because we got to do a free city tour provided by Qatar…

Key Things To Do in Key West

The gorgeous, calm, serene and picturesque waters of the Keys have a way of setting a soothing tone and a familiar sort of comfort. A few months ago, I had the pleasure of a short weekend getaway to the Keys with some of my good friends including my sister and brother in law. Key West was very similar to Nantucket and I fell in love immediately. Read on to see where to stay, where to go and what to do! Before the Trip My sister recently moved to SoFlo and we decided to go visit her where we had a short one night stay, but got to see the gorgeous…

Sun-kissed by the Myconian Sun (Mykonos, Greece).

Remember my posts on Santorini, Paris and Rome? Well, we also went to Mykonos during that trip with our friends almost a year ago and I fell in love immediately (even though Santorini was my favorite in Greece). We stayed at a 5-star luxury boutique hotel called Hotel Palladium. The service was phenomenal. The hotle had arranged a complimentary shuttle from and to the airport for us. The breakfast was included at this place and it was one of the best I’ve had. We quickly made friends with the staff that introduced us to Greek wine. The wine in Greece is very different than Italy and I didn’t think I…

    My 6 Hour Venice Experience

Almost 2 years ago, when I went to Kerala, Dubai/Abu Dhabi, Rome and Tuscany, I also went to Venice. The picture above is the classic view you get in Venice and it honestly was the most picturesque city I had ever been to. However, Venice is a city you can do in a few hours so on the train ride from Rome to Florence, we made a stop in Venice (bought the 7am ticket from Rome to Venice and the 7pm ticket from Venice to Florence) so we could explore the city and we still got the full experience. We left our bags at the train station- they store luggage…

New York, I Love You, XOXO III

About 3 months ago, we went to fashion week in NYC (read all about my experience and the Asaf Ganot show here) and even though Mr. Gentlementality and my primary purpose was for fashion week, we had go to squeeze in time to go explore! As promised, here is the rest of the post from what we did- don’t forget NYC I and NYC II. We stayed a couple of extra days to explore the city (yes, in the cold). The cold wasn’t bad at all- it was the wind and the slush from the snow melting from the storm the day before that was difficult, but it still didn’t stop us…
