    Palm Springs

I took a trip to Palm Springs, California with my Mom back at the beginning of January during the Palm Springs International Film Festival. It was AMAZING. Palm Springs shares similarities to Scottsdale, Arizona, but with slightly different activities. Palm Springs is the ultimate getaway to be in touch with nature, relax and be surrounded by celebs. How to get there1. Palm Springs Airport- we booked our tickets 6-7 months in advance because I knew I wanted to go during the film festival so we got roundtrip tickets from ATL to Palm Springs Airport on Delta for $468. By the way, this airport is amazing- most of it is outdoors.…

How to Get Couture Party Invitations with Basic Invite

As we all start to transition into our mid and late 30s, we tend to change up a few things in life that are now truly “adult life.” Once such way to do so is personalized and formal correspondence for invitations, business cards, announcements and holiday/birthday cards. Another great way is personalized websites for your event (for all you millennial’s). Luckily, there is a website called Basic Invite that allows you to do all of this for free! You may ask how is this any different from Evite or Paperless Post? Well, this incorporates many different things you can purchase and truly customize vs just invitation and it allows you…

    Pure Barre

I’ve talked about Barre before (check out my previous posts: Xtend Barre, Barre3, Barre). I’m an absolute lover of barre and up until now, Ive been doing Barre at home (Physique57, Barre3, Pure Barre on demang, Xtend Barre and others). I did it all throughout pregnancy as well. However, after doing it for a year I hit a roadblock and needed something intense to change it up. This is when I decided to join Pure Barre! Pure Barre is a little different than the others Ive taken- it offers 3 types of classes: Classic (my favorite- using mainly your own body strength and a couple of other equipment), Empower (cardio…

    Lake Como

We went to Lake Como a month ago as a celebration of our 5 year anniversary and a year of being parents! We were lucky enough to be able to leave Leia with grandparents. We did a trip to Italy including Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Florence outlet malls and ending with Lake Como. Stay tuned for my posts on the other places, but I had to start out with my favorite- LAKE COMO- it is definitely underrated and gets overlooked due to the Amalfi coast, but in my opinion, Lake Como is a luxurious paradise and beats Amalfi (check out my post on Positano from a few years ago)! StayWe were…

    The ‘One Year’ Milestone

I don’t normally write posts like these; however, this was such a big milestone in my life that I felt like it deserved one. (Fun fact side note: The dress I’m wearing above I bought when I was 7 months pregnant and was determined to wear it after the baby. Sadly, I quickly realized it wasn’t going to fit 6 weeks after I had Leia when I tried it on. At that point, I promised myself that at a year or earlier, I would make sure to fit into it). The baby turning one is definitely a huge milestone. Some people throw parties to celebrate making it the first year…

A Trip to Georgia’s Wine Country (Dahlonega)

For my 33rd birthday a few weeks ago, my friends and I went wine tasting to Dahlonega! There are lots of wineries, but we could only make it to 3. Below are the 3 we made it to and ones I wish we could have gone to! 1. Three Sisters VineyardMy friend actually told me this vineyard is known for their port wine! It was definitely delish! I so badly wanted to go here because they offer a chocolate tasting which was delicious! I first did a chocolate/wine pairing at a winery in South Africa in Stellenbosch and was surprised as to how much I loved it more than a…
