Workout Wednesday: Travel Workouts

When you’re traveling and on the go, it is difficult to get your workout in if your hotel does not have a fitness center or even if it does. I never go on vacation without working out while I’m there- it’s difficult to feel good when you’re pounding your body with such rich, fatty and delicious food! It definitely makes me feel better and gives me a lot more energy throughout the day. Here are some sample workouts you can do:

Yes, I have a gym!
This is a quick 30 minute workout, but if you’re pressed for time, then increase your speed on the treadmill and go through the circuit quicker!

Run on the treadmill for 2 minutes
10 squats
10 lunges
5 pushups
10 situps
Repeat this circuit 10 times

No, I do not have a gym!
1) Run outside if you can for 30 minutes

2) If not, then do this circuit:
10 jumping jacks
10 prisoner jumping jacks
10 squats
10 burpees
10 lunges
10 pushups
10 situps
10 side twists on each side
10 side kicks on each side
Run in place for 5 minutes
Repeat this circuit 5 times
