    Workout Wednesday: Travel Workouts

First and foremost, confidence gear: Top|Hoodie|Sports Bra|Shoes|Pants|Skinny Up|Slim Fit|Leggings|Hoodie|Pants When you’re traveling and on the go, it is difficult to get your workout in if your hotel does not have a fitness center or even if it does. I never go on vacation without working out while I’m there- it’s difficult to feel good when you’re pounding your body with such rich, fatty and delicious food! It definitely makes me feel better and gives me a lot more energy throughout the day. Here are some sample workouts you can do: Yes, I have a gym! This is a quick 30 minute workout, but if you’re pressed for time, then increase…

The Best of Cape Cod: Nantucket

I apologize for two travel posts in one week, but I loved both places so much that I could not resist! I promise more of recipes, fitness and fashion coming up next week! Nantucket. I don’t even know where to begin! A couple weeks ago, I took a girls family trip with my Mom and sister to Boston and a day trip to Nantucket for my Mom’s birthday. More about Boston later- this post is reserved for the charm of the little island called Nantucket. There are a few ways to get to Nantucket from Boston, but either way it can be a lengthy trip. From downtown Boston, you need to…

    Sun Funcisco!

A month ago, I went to San Francisco for my childhood friends bachelorette party. The picture above definitely describes SF (that’s how the locals say San Fran): hills, tall & narrow houses, beautiful scenery and a reminder of Full House! We tried to do as much as we could while we were there, but there’s so much left to do that I need to go back- definitely loved it more than San Diego. The first day we were there, it was super cold, windy and grey, but that still didn’t stop us from exploring! We went to a Spanish tapas place called Coqueta on Pier 5. The food was delicious…

    ‘Rent the Runway’ Indian Style!

How many of you have a NUMEROUS Indian outfits sitting in your closet that you have not worn in years? Would you like to make money off of them without it costing you a thing? One of my friends has the perfect solution- rent them out to people on Vikara.me! Neeru Singh in the founder of Vikara and she made a big move to San Francisco, CA. Her idea about Vikara started like any other ideas- a problem she encountered and wished  there was something out there to help her find a solution- so she decided to do something about it. A little while ago and had a hard time…

    Mouth-water Monday: Cashew Cheese

Cashew cheese! Say what?! Yes, there is such a thing and it is soy and gluten free! Cheese that is made from cow’s milk is actually very hard on the body to digest and can lead to gastrointestinal problems for many people such as constipation. Cashew cheese is a healthy and delicious alternative. You’ll be left with wanting more! Use it as a spread, sauce or topping and substitute it for any cheese you may use in your food: Calories: 1 tbsp = ~30 calories Ingredients: 1 cup cashews (soaked in 3 cups of water for 2 hours) 2 tsp lemon juice Black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup water…

    Fashion Friday: Dress Your Skirt

Want to expand your wardrobe without buying anything new? Take your current dresses and wear them as tops or skirts– not only dresses. It’s super simple! You just have to make sure you buy the right type of dress and skirt because not all dresses and skirts will work. It has to be the right length, style and type. Here’s the original dress: You can also wear your dresses as a skirt by wearing a top over your dress: So this one little dress gives me 3 outfits- or more if I use other skirts and tops as well. And all 3 outfits look extremely different- I actually don’t like wearing…

    Workout Wednesday: Shaun T-25

Confidence Fitness Gear: Top|Hoodie|Sports Bra|Shoes|Pants|Skinny Up|Slim Fit|Leggings|JC Hoodie|JC Pants “I don’t have time to workout!” That’s what most people I know say, but what if you had a 25 minute video that focused on different things each day and maximized your workout time? I did focus T25 (a beachbody product, read my post here) by Shaun T who also made Insanity Asylum (read my post here) for almost a year everyday and absolutely loved it. The good thing about is that you can tailor it to your level. The downfall is that your body can become used to it if you do it for a long period of time. Focus…

    Fashion Friday: So Nauti!

Fourth of July means sweet summertime, barbecues, fireworks on the lawn and awesome yacht parties. It’s also right in the middle of summer which gives a sense of comfort that summer is not over yet. Fireworks are like shooting stars- a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, a fleeting glimpse of eternity and in a flash, they’re gone (yes, I stole that quote from Nicholas Sparks’ The Notebook). Dressing patriotic for the occasion to show your support for Murica is a must on the list of summer attire! What’s great is that you can still wear it on boats and yachts or any nautical party themes! Below are some of…
