St. Patrick’s day originated when the Saint Patron of Ireland died years and years ago. He used the three-leaved shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to his followers. Green has been associated with Ireland since at least the 1600s due to its’ flag. For the Irish, drinking is a cultural celebration. So now you know everything there is to know about St. Patrick’s Day!
